Diesel Technic (M.E.) FZE in Dubai has comprehensively expanded its warehouse to better meet the growing demand in the region. With the expansion of the site in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the company is strengthening its logistics infrastructure and availability for distribution partners and workshop customers in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa. The investment in state-of-the-art warehouse technologies will help to further increase the efficiency of the supply chain and fulfil customer needs even faster. This project is one of the largest construction projects in the history of the Diesel Technic Group.
‘The project objective was to expand logistics capacities in incoming and outgoing goods in order to enable sustainable growth,’ says Dirk Heibel (General Manager Diesel Technic (M.E.) FZE). The project was launched at the beginning of 2023, followed by a planning and contract award phase lasting several months. The official go-ahead for the construction phase was given in December of the same year. The new building was completed in January 2025. Thanks to the warehouse expansion, Diesel Technic (M.E.) FZE is increasing the availability of items and offering optimal logistics solutions to ensure rapid supply to distribution partners and their workshop customers.
The expansion of the warehouse has resulted in various advantages. For example, the number of pallet spaces has more than doubled to a total of more than 31,000. The work area for incoming goods and quality assurance has also more than doubled. The administrative offices have also been expanded. Overall, the employees at the Dubai site can look forward to a modern and future-orientated working environment.
‘By expanding our capacities, we are creating the basis for further growth of the Diesel Technic Group. Our aim is to further optimise our time-to-market. The expanded capacities are a decisive step in this direction,’ reports Thomas Kaps (Head of Logistics).
Diesel Technic (M.E.) FZE is located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In addition to the successful expansion of warehouse capacity, the Dubai site is also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
