For Diesel Technic, the year 2022 was of very special significance, because in addition to many highlights, the company was able to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Founded in 1972, Diesel Technic has made an exciting journey to become a leading solution provider in the automotive sector. A highlight of the anniversary was the celebrations at the main location in Kirchdorf/Germany with a colourful supporting programme, where employees could personally introduce the workplace to their families.
Diesel Technic celebrates anniversary
Diesel Technic owes its 50th anniversary not only to its 650 employees, but also to its many loyal customers. In addition to the guaranteed quality, they particularly appreciate the complete range – especially for all common types of trucks.
Consistent product and data quality
However, articles for trailers, buses, transporters and other applications are also very popular. The two product brands DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive are also convincing in TecAlliance’s leading electronic parts catalogue TecDoc Catalogue – as a result of which both product brands of Diesel Technic SE were awarded the title of “Premium Data Supplier” (PDS).
As always, the Parts Specialists skilfully illustrated the practical use of the products in various workshop and PS Tips videos. The topics covered included the transporter brake system, the engine belt drive and the compressed air supply system. In the course of this, the Parts Specialists YouTube channel recently cracked the 2 million view mark: ps-web.tv.
From workshop professionals for workshop professionals
To make life easier not only for workshop professionals, but also for users in the Premium Shop, the scan function has been introduced. With this function, the codes on the article labels of the DT Spare Parts products can be easily scanned, making the collection of crown points child’s play. Particularly diligent collectors with 5,000 crown points and more are automatically invited to the Parts Specialists Club and thus additionally rewarded for their customer loyalty. With around 400 members who benefit from exclusive gifts and competitions as well as professional exchange and personal support from Parts Specialists, the Parts Specialists Club celebrated its first anniversary in May 2022.
Truck Racing with the Parts Specialists
A highlight for some lucky end customers were the truck racing weekends together with the Parts Specialists. As in previous years, DT Spare Parts sponsored the SL Trucksport 30 team around professional racing driver Sascha Lenz, who secured 3rd place in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship in his MAN truck. Immediately after the end of the season, DT Spare Parts continued its sporting activities with the betting game for the Football World Cup, in which the popular product brand from Diesel Technic chose the best bettor among the distribution partners as the “DT Spare Parts Champion 2022”.
In addition, contacts with distribution partners and their customers were maintained at numerous trade fairs. Diesel Technic Italia S.R.L. was at the Transpotec Logitec and the Parts Specialists of Diesel Technic Iberia were present at Motortec, where numerous end customers registered in the Premium Shop and learned about the advantages of the technical support tool HelpDesk.
All in all, Diesel Technic can look back on an eventful year. At the end of the year, the company wishes all its distribution partners and workshop professionals a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
