Diesel Technic draws a positive conclusion for 2024, having made significant progress over the past year and further advanced its sustainability goals through various energy retrofit and digitalisation measures. These achievements underline Diesel Technic’s continuous development and commitment to providing its customers worldwide with first-class spare parts and accessories for commercial vehicles. At the same time, the workforce benefits from a wide range of advantages.
New Partner Portal
Diesel Technic’s information and eCommerce procurement platform offers its users access to all branded spare parts from DT Spare Parts and now also offers extended functions. “Mobile First” was the motto under which the Partner Portal was given a makeover. Customers can look forward to an optimised product search, improved performance, insight into the current order status including shipping tracking and a simplified selection of shipping service providers.
ISO certification for data protection
In times of digitalisation, the issue of data protection is also playing an increasingly important role. The high level of information security and effective protection of sensitive data at Diesel Technic has now been confirmed by ISO 27001 certification. Customers and partners can therefore rely on the highest security standards.
Energy-efficient refurbishment measures
Saving energy in the long term and ensuring a climate-neutral and economical energy supply is Diesel Technic’s declared goal. To this end, numerous energy-related refurbishment measures have already been carried out at the headquarters in Kirchdorf/Germany and at the subsidiaries worldwide. These include PV systems, electric cars, LED lighting and energy measuring devices, which ultimately help to minimise the Group’s ecological footprint.
Employer Branding
Diesel Technic has expanded its range of employee benefits under the motto “Let's move”. To give new employees a real motivational boost, there is a welcome bonus at the start. In addition to the regular 30 days of vacation per year, employees in logistics can look forward to 13 additional free Fridays. In this context, a new employee campaign was launched, which attracted a lot of attention at regional events, among other things. The same applies to the company’s new Instagram channel. In addition to interesting and entertaining insights into everyday life at the company, it also offers general information about careers and current jobs at the Kirchdorf site.
The Parts Specialists at Truck Racing
The DT Spare Parts brand has been a sponsor of SL TruckSport 30 for five years – it goes without saying that the Parts Specialists didn’t miss out on the annual spectacle to cheer on racing driver Sascha Lenz on site and congratulate him on his 3rd place in the overall standings of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2024. Some happy end customers were also part of the party. This great experience is exclusively for members of the Parts Specialists Club. End customers at Diesel Technic also have other reasons to be happy, as support for workshop professionals is being continuously expanded.
Site expansions
Due to increased demand and requirements, the outgoing goods department and the automated small parts warehouse with shuttle technology were expanded at the headquarters. In addition, two major projects are currently underway, namely the expansion of the site in Dubai and a new building in France
