The Diesel Technic Group looks back on an eventful year in 2016. Under the motto “Aftermarket 4.0 – Upgrade now!” the range of products and services was expanded and the partnership with distribution partners was raised to the next Level.
The complete range of the brand DT Spare Parts now offers more than 35 000 spare parts for older and current trucks, trailers, buses and transporters with a 24-month guarantee. The product range for light commercial vehicles comprises around 6 000 spare parts suitable for the transporter models Citroën Jumper, Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit, Iveco Daily, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Nissan Interstar/NV400, Opel Movano, Peugeot Boxer, Renault Master/Mascott and
VW Crafter/LT II.
At the Automechanika Frankfurt and the IAA Nutzfahrzeuge 2016, the new product brand SIEGEL Automotive presented itself to the broad specialist public for the first time under the slogan “buy & smile”. The main advantages of SIEGEL Automotive are spare parts at attractive prices with a 12-month guarantee. The solid range of services meets all essential customer requirements, from simple ordering to speedy delivery. The product range comprises around 1 000 spare parts for body and cab, lighting and electrical equipment, as well as for other product groups. With this additional offer, distribution partners strengthen their competitive position in the price-sensitive market segment.
The Partner Portal formed the core of the digitalization strategy of Diesel Technic in 2016. With the Mobile Partner Portal, distribution partners can access the product range of Diesel Technic, with more than 36 000 spare parts and two product brands, at any time and from any location. “It is like having a complete spare-parts warehouse in your trouser pocket”, said a distribution partner, enthusiastically. It offers, for example, the opportunity to place orders directly from the customer’s premises.
The Partner Portal can be accessed at partnerportal.dieseltechnic.com. It logically complements the other digital services offered by Diesel Technic, such as the digital product catalogues that link the product to the Partner Portal, and the Promotion Generator.
Likewise, distribution partners benefit from active participation in the further developed Partner Program. With the Partner Program, distribution partners receive individual support for jointly coordinated measures for the active communication and sales promotion of the product brands. For the year 2017, Partner Promotions have been developed to convert the presented highlights into more sales and success. Joint success for sustainable growth is the goal pursued by Diesel Technic through the Partner Program, together with its distribution partners.
For further growth, the Diesel Technic Group opened a new subsidiary in Verona/Italy. The dedicated team of Diesel Technic Italia S.r.l. offers distribution partners in Italy and Malta 24/7 online ordering for a reliable supply of spare parts and a comprehensive range of services, including active sales and marketing support.
With top marks and distinction, five employees of Diesel Technic AG completed their dual studies in Business Administration (Bachelor of Arts) this year. The topics of their Bachelor theses will be implemented in the company in the near future. With nine different training courses and five dual study courses, Diesel Technic AG offers many young people the opportunity of starting a career in an internationally operating company each year.
