Diesel Technic looks back on a positive business year

The Diesel Technic Group can look back on a successful year of business. The many highlights and innovations with regard to products as well as the Premium Shop for workshop professionals are particularly worthy of mention. 

International awards

Diesel Technic distribution partners and their workshop customers benefit from high availability of items and reliable, fast deliveries. The Diesel Technic Group is valued internationally for being a reliable full-service partner that keeps businesses and vehicles moving. 

At the beginning of the year, Diesel Technic France SARL was awarded the prize for best logistics supplier by the French network Techniques Véhicules Industriels (TVI). In addition, the Diesel Technic Group’s subsidiary received the special prize for Best Supplier. This award is granted on the basis of a well-functioning supply chain.

The company also received an award in the area of partnerships: at the Groupauto & UAN (United Aftermarket Network) UK Show, Diesel Technic UK & Ireland Ltd. received the award for “Supplier of the Year”.

The Spanish subsidiary most recently received three awards. Diesel Technic Iberia S.L. was awarded for the quality of two product groups – exhaust system and brake chambers – of the brand DT Spare Parts. The Quality and Service Awards organized by Posventa Plural recognize the brands of spare parts and equipment most valued by Spanish commercial vehicle workshops.

Also, Diesel Technic Iberia S.L. received the “Fleet Service Digital Award” for its excellence in digital services during this year. The award was given during the "Fleet Service Automotive 2019" Awards, organized by the Portuguese magazine Automotive, which honors the most outstanding automotive players in Portugal and abroad.

Extended product ranges from DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive

New as well as updated catalogues of the brand DT Spare Parts were regularly published. The full range of automotive parts and accessories has been continuously expanded in order to keep offering distribution partners and their workshop customers the right products in line with market developments. DT Spare Parts recently for the first time released a catalogue suitable for Volvo FL 6/FL/FE. 

The brand SIEGEL Automotive has also shown steady growth this year, especially in the overseas sales regions. As a result, the brand expanded its product range, which distribution partners and their workshop customers can view in concise form in an updated catalogue. 

End customer reward programme internationally popular

2019 has furthermore proved to be an exciting year for end users of the DT Spare Parts brand. The Premium Shop had many promotions and innovations on offer. In February, it was all about “Welcome Russia”. The platform responded to the positive response from users and is now available in six languages. In time for the summer and holiday season, the Premium Shop introduced its latest highlight: the travel configurator, which allows for individual journeys to be combined. 

By workshop professionals for workshop professionals

The Parts Specialists continued to thrill their viewers with their videos on the company's own YouTube channel “DT TV”, which has more than 7,000 subscribers. And in 2020 the Parts Specialists will continue to offer advice and support for workshop professionals.

Soccer weekend in Barcelona for “DT Spare Parts Champion 2019” 

The popular prediction game series continued to feature in 2019. At the start of the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League, DT Spare Parts announced their competition for the “DT Spare Parts Champion 2019”. The person with the closest predictions won the main prize, a soccer weekend for two in Barcelona. Soccer fans will once again have a chance to show off their predictions in the coming year, this time in Euro 2020.
