Diesel Technic Group looks back on successful year 2018

One highlight of the year was the launch of the DT Spare Parts Premium Shop as part of the end customer loyalty program. Buyers of the products of the brand DT Spare Parts benefit from brand loyalty in addition to the complete range in guaranteed quality. With the purchase, they will receive crown codes, which they can redeem in the Premium Shop after free registration, collect and exchange them for high-quality rewards. Diesel Technic now offers an extended range of more than 41 000 products in guaranteed quality with enlarged application possibilities. The full range currently comprises around 40 000 products of the brand DT Spare Parts and around 1 500 products of the brand SIEGEL Automotive and is continuously expanded and updated daily. New and updated product catalogues for trucks, buses, trailers, transporters and further applications such as cars, agricultural vehicles, construction vehicles, marine and industrial engines etc. are published regularly.

New published in 2018 was the spare parts catalogue of the brand DT Spare Parts suitable for vehicles of the current Scania L-/P-/G-/G-/R-/S series. This rapid reaction to market developments underlines the dynamism of the Diesel Technic Group, which is confidently positioning itself as a leading solution provider in the international automotive industry with its new corporate slogan "Global Automotive Solutions – Made in Germany". With a total of 9.2 million, Diesel Technic is a provider with the most vehicle links to TecDoc.

All products can be found in the Partner Portal. The comprehensive information and e-commerce procurement platform delivers a new and optimised product search that makes it easy for distribution partners and their workshop customers to quickly and easily find information on products and services.

Also on the new company and brand websites as a new online service is the advanced product search available. This makes it even easier for distribution partners and their workshop customers to be informed about products, services and other content.

In addition to the development of new ideas for mutual growth, the Diesel Technic Group is globally expanding the infrastructure at all locations. Logistics capacities have been increased in several locations in 2018, and automation of processes has resulted in extended service and ordering times for online orders – all for an even more agile spare parts supply.

There was also an anniversary: the web TV channel www.dt-web.tv celebrated its tenth birthday. Around 5 000 subscribers are currently following the news about the supplier of automotive parts and accessories – and the number is growing every day. Especially the videos of the "Parts Specialists" enjoy great popularity and a growing fan base.

Furthermore, the Diesel Technic was represented at many trade fairs around the world. In particular, the Automechanika Frankfurt 2018 has been an exciting platform for the company to make many new contacts within the industry.

Matching to the Fifa World Cup 2018 taking place in Russia, the brand DT Spare Parts was looking for the “DT Aftermarket World Champion 2018”, a tip game competition with prizes worth a total of € 5 000.
