Modern new building strengthens logistics and creates space for further growth

A significant milestone for Diesel Technic France SARL: Diesel Technic's French subsidiary has successfully completed its first new building in Janzé, near Rennes. The new location replaces the previous premises in Noyal-sur-Vilaine and is only 15 minutes away, enabling a smooth transition. At the same time, the 14,800 m² site offers space for future expansion.

Since 2012, Diesel Technic France has been reliably supplying distribution partners and their workshop customers throughout France with DT Spare Parts brand products. With the new building, the company is investing specifically in the future – with clear goals: doubling storage capacity, automating logistics processes and placing a greater focus on environmental responsibility.

Investment in growth, automation and sustainability

The new logistics platform comprises over 6,200 m² of storage space and 460 m² of office space and will go into operation at the beginning of 2026. With an investment volume of around 13 million euros, Diesel Technic France is doubling its storage capacity to 4,700 pallet spaces and expanding its picking area to over 1,900 m². An automated small parts zone ensures efficient processes and faster order processing.

The new infrastructure features a number of environmentally friendly innovations that reflect Diesel Technic's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR), including photovoltaic modules for own consumption and partial resale of electricity, charging stations for electric vehicles and advanced thermal insulation for better energy efficiency. Natural lighting systems and optimised waste management contribute to reducing the environmental impact.

Improved working conditions for the team

The focus is also on working conditions for employees: automated warehouse technology reduces internal distances and increases efficiency. Bright, functional workspaces with thermal regulation and modern safety standards – including sprinkler systems and alarm systems – ensure a comfortable and safe working environment.

Better service quality for customers

Direct benefits for customers: Thanks to the significantly increased storage capacity, Diesel Technic France can improve the availability of spare parts on the French market and shorten delivery times at the same time. The automated small parts zone enables orders to be processed continuously. In addition, six loading gates, including three new ones specifically for commercial vehicles, ensure faster processing and multiple daily shipping cycles.

‘With the new location, we are not only creating more space for further growth, but also investing specifically in state-of-the-art logistics processes and a future-proof working environment for our team,’ explains Yanick Lemarié, Managing Director of Diesel Technic France SARL.

The keys were handed over during a joint tour by the German and French teams. The new site is scheduled to go into operation in the first quarter of 2026.
