Workshop professionals also have access to practical tips and tricks, and helpful instructions to support them in their daily work, thanks to the videos released by the “Parts Specialists” in 2017. In a Champions League betting game, the DT Spare Parts product brand searched for the “DT Aftermarket Champion 2017”. Exciting prizes worth 5 000 euros were awarded to the competition's winners. The “DT Aftermarket Champion 2017” received an unforgettable weekend of football for two in Munich, including flights, hotel accommodation and two free tickets to an FC Bayern Munich game in the 1st Bundesliga division at the Allianz Arena.
In 2017, a total of 12 new vehicle-related product catalogues were published by the DT Spare Parts product brand for simple product searches. The now more than 30 product catalogues are available online at dcat.dt-spareparts.com and a printed catalogue can be ordered at no cost from cat.dt-spareparts.com. The further developed Partner Portal can now be used online around the clock for more than 36 000 products, from both the DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive brands.
The range of products from SIEGEL Automotive includes nearly 1 000 spare parts for the body and cabin, lighting and electrical equipment as well as other product groups.
As of 2017, workshop customers have been able to find the commercial vehicle spare parts of the SIEGEL Automotive brand, together with detailed product information, in the TecAlliance TecDoc Web electronic parts catalogue. The product brand SIEGEL Automotive presented itself again this year with the slogan “buy & smile”, offering workshop professionals an attractively priced offer for current value repair with a solid service and 12-month warranty.
The Diesel Technic Group took part in numerous national and international trade fairs with both successful product brands: DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive. Distribution partners and workshop customers were able to experience the product highlights live and exchange information with the team in person at the Autopromotec in Bologna, the ACMA Automechanika in New Delhi, the 16 Targi Inter Cars in Warsaw, the Solutrans in Lyon and many other trade fairs.
Distribution partners benefited from the support of Diesel Technic when it came to promotion activities for the DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive product brands. Workshop customers enjoyed creative activities together with new information that brought fun and variety to a tough working day.
In 2017, it was also important to Diesel Technic AG, as a renowned training organisation, to play an active role in the training and advancement of young talents in Germany. 11 trainees and two dual students successfully completed their training at Diesel Technic AG with first class honours. There are currently 40 trainees in eight apprenticeship professions and three dual courses being prepared to take on challenging duties.
Diesel Technic AG started work on the major expansion of its headquarters in Kirchdorf in the autumn. The expansion supports Diesel Technic AG's ongoing growth strategy.
