From the 4th to the 6th of June, Diesel Technic UK & Ireland participated for the first time with its own booth at the Road Transport Expo 2024. During this period, the NAEC Stoneleigh venue in Warwickshire was transformed into a hotspot for the commercial vehicle industry. From over 290 exhibitors, Diesel Technic UK & Ireland also took the opportunity to present the DT Spare Parts product brand and the associated full service.
The trade fair and the booth were managed by General Manager Mark Todd, Peter Shufflebotham (Sales Manager), Kevin Petrie (Sales Manager) and a colleague from the Customer Service team. Additionally, Maren Hormann (Marketing Manager) from the Group's headquarters in Germany supported the exhibition team. As well as presenting DT Spare Parts' wide range of products, the Premium Shop was another highlight of the trade fair. The brand loyalty programme honours workshops with attractive rewards for their loyalty. Especially exciting was the presence of the new Parts Specialist team member Lee Harris who had the opportunity to gather feedback directly from the market. Every Diesel Technic subsidiary has at least one Parts Specialist who acts as a point of contact for end customers. Alongside the PS Tips videos, the experts are also available at their HelpDesk to help customers.
A special highlight was the fast putt golf game at the booth. The game tested the visitors' skills. With a bit of luck, great prizes could be won. For example, two vouchers were raffled off every day. Furthermore, all newly registered Premium Shop users could look forward to another present. They received a lunchbox from the DT Spare Parts brand. On top of that, they had the chance to win two tickets for the Donington Truck Race.
During the three days of the trade fair, the Road Transport Expo 2024 reported a new visitor record. The feedback from Diesel Technic UK & Ireland was consistently positive. Many interesting conversations were held and an active exchange took place.
