From 13 to 29 September 2016, Diesel Technic presented the numerous innovations in the range of services and in the product brands DT Spare Parts and SIEGEL Automotive under the motto “Aftermarket 4.0 – Upgrade now!” The world's leading trade fairs Automechanika Frankfurt and IAA Commercial Vehicles Hanover again proved to be ideal platforms for dialogue with distribution partners and their customers. Stand visitors from throughout the world showed great interest in learning about the future-oriented innovations from the leading full-service provider of commercial vehicle spare parts.
At both fairs, Diesel Technic showed itself to be optimally prepared for the future challenges of the Independent Aftermarket. Four exhibition highlights gave the stand visitors an insight into the future of the company group and the product groups.
Besides the complete range for trucks, trailers and buses, DT Spare Parts now offers a complete range for transporters. The complete product range of the brand DT Spare Parts for light commercial vehicles comprises more than 6 000 spare parts suitable for the transporter models Citroën Jumper, Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit, Iveco Daily, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Nissan Interstar/NV400, Opel Movano, Peugeot Boxer, Renault Master/Mascott and VW Crafter/LT II.
The new product brand, SIEGEL Automotive, was presented to the professional public for the first time. The most important advantages of SIEGEL Automotive are the attractive prices with a 12-month guarantee. The solid range of services fulfills all essential customer requirements and speedy delivery. The product range includes spare parts for body and cab, lighting and electrical equipment, as well as for other product groups. Distribution partners can procure commercial vehicle spare parts of both brands without any additional effort from a single source.
With the new Mobile Partner Portal of
Diesel Technic they can, at any time and from anywhere, access the comprehensive product range of more than 36 000 spare parts from two product brands. “It is just as if one has a complete warehouse full of spare parts in one’s trouser pocket”, one distribution partner said enthusiastically. He now sees the opportunity for his field sales force/ representatives to place orders locally direct from the customer’s premises. The Mobile Partner Portal can be accessed at partnerportal-mobile.dieseltechnic.com and logically complements the further digital services of Diesel Technic, such as the digital product catalogues that form a link from the product to the Partner Portal.
Likewise, distribution partners profit from participation in the enhanced Partner Program. The fourth of Diesel Technic’s exhibition highlights offers distribution partners the opportunity to intensify the partnership with Diesel Technic. In the Partner Program, distribution partners receive individual support with jointly coordinated measures for active communication and sales promotion of the product brands.
