Update for the DT spare parts catalogue for Mercedes-Benz Actros/Axor

The DT spare parts catalogue for the Mercedes-Benz series Actros and Axor was the forerunner of the new catalogue generation, and was awarded as the best spare parts catalogue immediately after appearing in the KatalogBenchmark competition. The time had now come to further develop the automotive reference catalogue with an extensive content update.

The updated catalogue with the new version number 1.2 I contains some 1,800 DT®-brand spare parts over 516 pages, with product images throughout, including more than 370 newly incorporated items. An intensive analysis of the spare parts queries received allowed the product range in the catalogue to be even more optimally adjusted to the worldwide needs of customers.

The clear page layout of the 6-language catalogue (English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian) now also contains the useful “Details” column with further product information, such as dimensions etc. Of course, the catalogue also still includes a cross-reference list with more than 3,400 OE reference numbers, as well as the “DT Quickfinder” – the thumb index for quickly finding the main groups. Apart from extensive technical information about the history of the popular vehicle series Actros and Axor, the current warranty conditions for DT®-brand spare parts have also been incorporated into the opening pages.

The updates of the DT spare parts catalogue for Mercedes-Benz SK/MK/NH series (OM 400) and L series (OM 300) will follow in 2009. The new DT catalogue series is generated from an XML-based central product database (PIM). The product information updated as part of the catalogue update is immediately available to all users of the DT product information system, and will be available to users of the TecDoc parts catalogue with the next update. By October 2009, more than 16,000 DT®-brand spare parts will be listed on TecDoc.
