In 2009, DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE's participation in the Automechanika in South Africa was a great success. The presentation with the high quality exhibition stand won the Gold Award from the trade fair organisers.

In 2008, the company moved into the newly built warehouse with a total area of 6250 m² and 3850 pallet spaces. 53 staff members were employed this year at DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE. The sales area this year covered 41 countries, 19 of which in the Middle East and 22 in Africa.

In order to be able to meet the increasing demand for DT® brand spare parts, construction of a new warehouse began in 2007. The sales area was expanded considerably and the number of employees was increased to 43.

DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE presented itself for the first time at the Automechanika Gulf in Dubai in 2006. There was an important visit from Sheikh Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister for Culture, Youth & development in U.A.E., who personally informed himself about the company and the products.

In 2002, the new warehouse and office building in the Jebel Ali free trading area was completed and 23 employees moved in. The sales area was expanded with countries in the Middle East and Africa.

In 1999, Dirk Heibel was deployed as Manager of the subsidiary. The sales area was expanded to include Iran, Oman and Qatar and the workforce was increased to nine members of staff.

On 2nd April 1995, DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE was founded as an office of DT-DIESEL TECHNIC GmbH (now DIESEL TECHNIC AG) in the Jebel Ali Free Zone area in Dubai. In the year of its foundation, two employees took care of sales of DT® spare parts in U.A.E. and Saudi-Arabia.
