The DIESEL TECHNIC GROUP is exhibiting for the first time at the Equip Auto in Paris

The international exhibition, Equip Auto, will take place from 11 to 15 October 2011 at the exhibition centre,”Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte“, in France.

The international trade exhibition for automotive parts and accessories takes place every two years and is one of the most important meeting points for manufacturers, dealers and repair workshops; in particular for visitors from francophone Europe and Africa. Many exhibitors will be presenting their products, services and themselves as suppliers and partners.  

The DIESEL TECHNIC GROUP is taking part in the Equip Auto in Paris for the first time, with a stand of over 100 m², which can be seen in hall 6, booth N 033, directly opposite Renault. With more than 22,000 different spare parts, the brand DT® has developed into one of the leading product brands worldwide in the Independent Aftermarket for commercial vehicles.  Equip Auto is, therefore, an important platform to present current news about new products and from the group of companies to our trader customers.

Not least for the distribution company DIESEL TECHNIC FRANCE, the exhibition is an important milestone to present itself as partner and supplier, after the successful restructuring, to the purchasing groups and wholesalers in France.  

The aim of the exhibition is to further increase awareness of the brand DT® in the French aftermarket. With the new strategy distribution via the wholesale trade, a sustained increase in sales should be achieved in France, which is the second-largest spare parts market in Europe.

Also for the African distribution, for which the headquarters in Germany is responsible, the DIESEL TECHNIC GROUP hopes that the participation at Equip Auto will provide a positive impulse and a continued increase in awareness of the brand DT®.  

During the exhibition, interesting highlights await visitors to the DIESEL TECHNIC GROUP stand, such as the premiere of the updated DT® spare parts catalogue suitable for Volvo FH/FM/FMX/NH, new products from the constantly expanding product range for Renault trucks, which now contains more than 3,000 spare parts, the first spare parts catalogue purely for buses, suitable for MAN Bus/Neoplan, as well as the new product line catalogues for air springs and universal parts. Besides the many new catalogues, the product information system is an innovation, especially for customers of DIESEL TECHNIC FRANCE, as they can now view the availability of items from the warehouse in Noyal sur Vilaine. Urgent products can also be sent direct to France from the central warehouse in Germany. In addition, trade visitors will receive current information on the progress of the expansion of the company’s headquarters in Germany.  

The exhibition team consists of staff members responsible for sales and distribution from the headquarters in Germany, together with the sales team from the distribution company DIESEL TECHNIC FRANCE.
