Management change at Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L.

The branch in San Fernando de Henares, near Madrid, serves spare parts dealers throughout Spain. Martin Ratón is looking forward to the challenges involved in his position as General Manager and wants to continue to advance the growth of Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. Here he focuses on good contact to the dealers and aims to develop the excellent customer service even further. In order to achieve this, the local team is to be strengthened by recruiting additional staff.

Martin Ratón takes over the management from Carlos Gomes, who had been head of Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L since 2005. Carlos Gomes is returning to the headquarters of the Diesel Technic Group in Germany and will, from there, support and supervise distribution in Europe, including Portugal and Spain.

During his time in Spain he was responsible for the relocation of the branch from Malaga to Madrid, as well as the conversion from distribution to the spare parts trade. Under his leadership, Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. developed highly successfully and, due to the cooperation with dealer customers, based on partnership and trust, was able to steadily increase turnover. The number of employees at Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. increased from three to the 17 staff members now.

The dedicated Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. team consists of spare-part specialists for each manufacturer’s brand. The staff is responsible for the giving of advice, parts identification, acceptance of orders and the shipping service throughout Spain. The logistically ideal location, situated near Barajas airport, has already been expanded twice.

Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. has direct access to the entire product range of the Diesel Technic Group, with more than 25,000 different spare parts for trucks, trailers and buses.  At the company’s headquarters near Madrid, in an area of over 900 m2, more than 9,000 DT brand spare parts are stored, which can be delivered to customers throughout Spain within 24 hours.
