Diesel Technic Iberia, S.L. moves into significantly larger headquarters

Expansion of Diesel Technic (M.E.) FZE in Dubai/U.A.E. The biggest construction project in the history of the Diesel Technic Group has started.

The product range grew to more than 30,000 different DT brand spare parts.

With the product range suitable for Iveco, the range for the “Big Seven“ of the European commercial vehicle brands DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania and Volvo was completed.

The presentation of the new range for trailers makes the DT Spare Parts range to a complete range for trucks, trailers and buses.

Guests from regional politics and business industry celebrate the successful expansion of the headquarters in Kirchdorf. 

With the publication of the new DT spare parts catalogues suitable for Volvo bus models B/9/12/13  and Volvo B10/12 the range of spare parts for buses was significantly extended.

Diesel Technic Benelux B.V. successfully oriented on distribution via the spare-parts wholesale trade.

The parent company of the Diesel Technic Group was renamed Diesel Technic AG.

The headquarters in Germany was expanded considerably, with a new logistics area (with narrow-aisle, high-bay warehouse and small-parts warehouse), as well as additional office space.

The product range grew to more than 25,000 different DT brand spare parts.

The spare parts range was expanded by including catalogues on spare parts for buses and special product lines.

The environmental management system was certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2009.

The French distribution company was renamed Diesel Technic France SARL and successfully oriented on distribution via the spare-parts wholesale trade.

In the year 2010, the range was expanded with spare parts suitable for Renault Trucks.

In spring 2010, expansions to the company buildings of DIESEL TECHNIC DO BRASIL were able to be completed. The warehousing space was extended from 450 to 1250 square metres and therefore more than doubled. The office building now covers an area of around 150 square metres. Due to the continually growing demand for DT® brand spare parts in Brazil, these expansion measures were urgently required.

DT-DIESEL TECHNIC IBERIA, S.L. expanded its warehouse and office spaces of about 50 percent in 2010. Around 10,500 different DT® brand spare parts are now permanently stored over a floor space of 900m², distributed over three halls. The first conversion and renovation measures began in May 2010 and were carried out during running operations.

In December 2009, DIESEL TECHNIC BENELUX (B.V.) moved into the newly built distribution centre in Nieuwkuijk (near `s-Hertogenbosch). The new high bay warehouse in the sales centre for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg offers around 400 pallet spaces with its 1500 m².

The increasing demand for DT® brand spare parts in the Middle and Far East as well as in Africa was the reason for the extensive expansion of storage capacities at DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE in the year 2007. The new high bay warehouse with 6250 m² of storage space was completed in July 2008.

Just in time for the 35 year company anniversary, the successful completion of the extensive expansion measures at the headquarters in Germany could be celebrated in the year 2007.  In addition to a new 1300 m² administration building and a 3000 m² production building, a modern high storage facility on 4000 m², with space for up to 7000 pallets was built in Kirchdorf as well.

The sole director, Horst Lieberwirth, changed over to the supervisory board in 2005 and handed over management of the company to a board of four directors.

DT-DIESEL TECHNIC IBERIA, S.L. was founded in Malaga in the year 2005. The company has been selling DT® brand spare parts in Spain ever since. In the same year, the DT-DIESEL TECHNIC IBERIA, S.L. sales centre relocated to San Fernando de Henares/Madrid. The new location is located in a favourable position for logistics in the direct vicinity of the airport of Madrid-Barajas and the A-2 and M-50 motorways.

In the year 2004, the range was expanded with spare parts to suit commercial vehicles from MAN.

DIESEL TECHNIC AG has been represented with an office in China since the year 2003. The employees of the DIESEL TECHNIC AG Shanghai Rep. Office take care of customers and interested parties in China.

DIESEL TECHNIC BENELUX B.V. was founded in the year 2001 in Hertogenbosch/Netherlands. The company sells DT® brand spare parts to customers in the Benelux states.

In the year 2000, the sales centre was founded together with a Brazilian partner. The company now sells DT® brand spare parts in Brazil under the name DIESEL TECHNIC DO BRASIL Ltda.

DT-DIESEL TECHNIC GmbH was changed to a public limited company in the year 1999: DT-DIESEL TECHNIC AG. Horst Lieberwirth became the sole director.

In the year 1997, the range was expanded with spare parts to suit commercial vehicles from DAF.

Our efforts towards achieving excellent quality were confirmed in 1996 with the successful certification of the quality management system and has been oriented towards valid international standards ever since.

In the year 1995, the first distribution centre outside of Europe was founded. DIESEL TECHNIC (M.E.) FZE has since been situated in the Free Zone in the port of Jebel Ali in Dubai and sells DT® brand spare parts in the Middle East and Africa.

The permanent expansion of the range was the reason for the new extension to logistics and storage capacities at the Kirchdorf site. The good product quality led to increasing demand for DT® brand spare parts for commercial vehicles so that the worldwide export of spare parts continued to make an even bigger contribution to company success.

In the year 1989, the first sales centre in another European country was founded. DIESEL TECHNIC OUEST SARL has been located in Noyal sur Vilaine close to Rennes ever since and sells DT® brand spare parts in France.

In the year 1983, the range was expanded with spare parts to suit commercial vehicles from Scania.

DT-DIESEL TECHNIC GmbH moved into generously sized company headquarters at the nearby location of Kirchdorf in the year 1976. The range was continually expanded to include motors and expendable parts to suit trucks and buses from Mercedes-Benz.

DT-DIESEL TECHNIC was founded in the year 1972 as a GmbH by Horst Lieberwirth and Erwin Naujoks in the north German town of Sulingen. The company started with the sale of spare parts for diesel injection systems.
